General
01Can a drone inspection be carried out at any location?
Not automatic. Geozones, local airspace, obstacles, privacy, weather and a safe take-off and landing zone determine what is possible. VYNDIS checks these conditions in advance.
02What happens in bad weather?
Safety and usable image quality come first. If wind, rain or visibility prevent a good performance, we will plan another date in consultation.
03Does a visual inspection replace a technical inspection?
No. The image shows visible features. Hidden defects, material strength or causes that require specialist investigation are not automatically included.
04Where does VYNDIS work?
VYNDIS is located in Ostend and mainly works in West Flanders and on the Belgian coast. We will view other locations upon request.
05How do I receive the files?
Digital, recognizably named and organized according to service, location, date or zone. The exact format is agreed in advance.
06Can I use images on my website or social media?
For real estate and media projects, we coordinate the use and desired formats in advance. For inspection images, we take privacy and possible customer or location permission into account.
Drone inspections
01Does this replace a technical inspection?
No. The recording is visual and non-destructive. It makes visible features clear, but does not identify hidden defects, material strength or technical causes.
02Can any location be flown?
Not automatic. Geozones, obstacles, privacy, weather and a safe take-off and landing zone determine what is possible. We check this in advance.
03Can my roofer use the images?
Yes. The organized images are suitable for discussing points of interest and preparing for a more targeted site visit or repair.
Construction progress
01How often does VYNDIS come by?
We determine this based on duration, milestones and communication goal. Many projects choose biweekly or monthly.
02Can the same views be repeated?
Yes. That is precisely the basis of useful progress registration. We determine a fixed admission list in advance.
03Can video also be made?
Yes. In addition to documentation images, we can provide a short stabilized project video or periodic clips.
Property photos & video
01Can I only have aerial images taken?
Yes. Choose aerial photography, exterior images, 4K video or a combination that suits the presentation of your property.
02How do I prepare the property?
Ensure a well-maintained outdoor area, unobstructed sight lines of the building and accessible recording areas. We discuss access and a suitable recording time in advance.
03Do I get images for different platforms?
Yes. In addition to high resolution, we can provide web formats and cutouts for feed, story, advertisement or website.
Industry & large roofs
01Is a safety briefing necessary?
Usually yes on industrial sites. We coordinate local safety rules, access and contact persons in advance.
02Is a complete logistics roof possible?
Often yes, but feasibility depends on airspace, size, obstacles and safe operational space.
03Does VYNDIS do thermography?
The packages listed are visual inspections. Thermal inspections and 3D results are outside these packages and require a separate scope and quotation.
